Before your stay, you may have a few questions. We have answered the most common ones below to help you plan your visit!

Short answer, no. We never charge in advance and prefer to stay flexible for our guests. Therefore we charge all rooms on arrival. Easy for you and us!

Yes! All our guests get sheets, beddings and towels included in the price.

During the ski touring season, we offer full board with breakfast, lunchpack and dinner. If breakfast is included in your stay, you are welcome to prepare your own packed lunch from the breakfast buffet for your day in the mountains.

In summer we offer breakfast. Snacks and light meals are available, while dinner is served only on request for groups and by prior arrangement.

The restaurant is closed between the seasons.

Guests are welcome to use our fully equipped guest kitchen to prepare their own meals. In Lyngseidet, just a short walk from the lodge, you will find two large supermarkets where you can stock up on groceries and supplies.
There is also a local restaurant, Arctic Grill, located in the village.

The ferry terminal to Olderdalen is located in the centre of Lyngseidet and can be reached in about 1 minute by car or 10 minutes on foot from the lodge. The main bus stop is also located at the ferry terminal.

If you are travelling to Tromsø via the Svensby–Breivikeidet ferry, we recommend leaving the lodge approximately 30 minutes before the ferry departure. Please note that this ferry can be quite busy, especially on weekends, so arriving early is advisable.

Magic Mountain Lodge is located just 800 metres north of Lyngseidet, making it easy to reach by both public transport and car.
There are daily bus and ferry connections between Tromsø and Lyngseidet, and the bus stop is within walking distance of the lodge.

Yes. We have free parking right outside our lodge for all guests. Sometimes it’s possible to stay with an RV/campervan as well, please contact us beforehand.

We do not rent ski equipment at Magic Mountain Lodge. However, ski touring equipment (including Skiboots) can be rented or purchased at Elektrosport in Lyngseidet, just a few minutes away from the lodge.

Our wood-fired outdoor sauna is available by reservation only and is not heated on a daily basis. The sauna accommodates 4–6 guests and is reserved exclusively for your group during your booking.
Please note that it takes approximately one hour to heat the sauna, so we kindly ask you to let us know in advance if you would like to use it.
Sauna use is subject to an additional charge.
